Malcontent

Departure from the body

Sleep on silent sands

Forget about tomorrow’s mess

Just lay awhile

Reflect

Remember times

Such jovial times

Sunflowers, bees and honey

Everything fades to grey

Sunflowers die

Bees only sting

And honey gets stuck in your hair

Each grain of sand whispers

Secrets you wanted no one to hear

The sun seems to be smirking

The ocean waves are laughing

Back to the body

In permafrost ground

Constricted and controlled

Back to  traces of life you never wanted

But lost just the same
